When the Royal mail needed an urgent installation of a cycle shelter they turned to Urban Design & Developments Ltd. Based on our standard cycle storage shelter and developed for the NHS the modern cycle shelter incorporates new feature curved supports. Cycle stores can be made to suit any length or base area and incorporate our standard inverted U style Sheffield style cycle hoops. The framework is fully decorated heavy duty mild steel rolled members with a rear and end covering of clear PETG polycarbonate clear sheeting. All sheets are fixed and sealed to the frame using heavy duty fixings and neoprene gasket seals, unlike many standard cycle shelters which are simply screw fixed through the sheeting. In addition we include black plastic edge protection trims to all exposed edges of the PETG sheeting.
